Mobile Laboratories - Technical Data
- CLASS VERSUS HOURLY AIR CHANGE RATES (ACH)
- CLASS 100,000 typically 25 to 35 air changes per hour.
- CLASS 10,000 typically 45 to 60 air changes per hour.
- CLASS 1,000 typically 75 to 120 air changes per hour.
- CLASS 100 typically 250 to 350 air changes per hour.
- CLASS 100,000 typically 400 to 600 air changes per hour.
FILTER CALCULATION BASED ON CLASS AND AIR CHANGE RATE
FILTERS REQUIRED = AREA X CEILING HEIGHT X ACH/ 650 CFM*
* Note average filter cfm output can vary between 600 cfm to 750 cfm depending on filter manufacturer and the external pressure drop the filter is subject to.
Mobile Laboratories - Primary Features:
Temporary, transportable cleanrooms and laboratories.
PETI's transportable laboratories are constructed using standard ISO containers and portable structures, making them resilient enough for longer term usage while still maintaining their ease of assembly, disassembly, and transportability. Able to be hauled on flatbed truck or shipped overseas anywhere in the world, PETI's transportable laboratories are the perfect application for companies seeking a portable, temporary solution.

Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: What can I have installed in my trailer?
A: P.E.T.I. has the ability to install most customer requirements into a trailer limited only by the trailer
space and capacity requirements of the equipment required. P.E.T.I. engineers can assist you with whats feasible to install
in one trailer or if a second or larger trailer maybe required.
For a list of options please go to LINK our options page. If you don’t see something you need please ask.
Q: What is a typical delivery time?
A: After layout approval drawings (ususally 2weeks), design and engineering may take up to 4 weeks. Add to
that your review and approval time and we are probably 8 weeks before we start fabricating (it can be sooner depending on the
complexity of the trailer) Typical fabrication miight be 4 to 6 weeks. So overall you are looking at 12 to 16 weeks after
receipt of an order.
Q: Can I (the customer) furnish lab equipment for you to install?
A: Yes, we can install equipment that you have drop shipped to our mfg facilities. We would have to have
submittals with complete details.
Q: What licenses will the trailer require?
A: This varies from state to state. Additional temporary licenses may apply in transited states. If the
mobile cleanroom is transportable (meaning shipped on a flat bed trailer) the transit licenses would be the responsibility
of the of contract carrier. The container itself may not require a license. P.E.T.I. will perform a license requirement
search after getting under contract.
Q: What taxes will be required?
A: You may be responsible for sales or use taxes in your state. If the cleanroom is motorized or trailerable
there will most likely be state and federal excise taxes due along with license fees.
Q: What is the typical cost of a mobile cleanroom?
A: P.E.T.I. has developed a base price with standard features for various configurations. We then add to that
base price the options that you have selected. The option prices include the materials, installation, additional engineering,
and drawings. Some options may require other options such as electrical power, DI water etc. For a budgetary price please contact
our sales department. We will respond with an e-mail quote to bona fide companies. We apologize but we cannot send quotes
to personal email accounts (e.g., gmail, hotmail, yahoo!, etc.). We must be able to determine your company's domain name based on
your email address. (ex: example@peticleanair.com corresponds to www.peticleanair.com)
